Truly is an amazing game. Now blizzard just needs to get Diablo III out the door :P
I'm not going to really debate which game/series is better, but all I have to say, Uncharted 2 is one of the most polished games I've ever played, and succeeded in all aspects of its design. I can't say anything for or against Mass Effect, as I'm waiting for my friend to lend me the game to try on PC.
I firmly believe 3D is the future of home entertainment. Just not with requiring the to viewer to wear glasses. Come to think of it, it's really 3D's one and biggest drawback.
It's all good. They pretty much made that money back thanks to prologue
does codemasters have the license to WRC for that year?
I'm surprised they haven't bought the license to the NBA as well. Cause the NBA2K series is and has always been better than Live, I think.
They do have the F-150, as well the Chevy Silverado and Toyota Tacoma. I don't know about SUV's.
@ GWAVE Last year Uncharted 2 got GOTY pretty much everywhere. But they should have included LBP2, although its just one person's opinion.
Well the PSP2 is reportedly going to be running the Tegra 2 chipset, so when it comes to graphics and HD gaming, that's not a problem. Sony needs to make sure it has a second analog nub, utilize less power and support some applications for it though. Those were the PSP's biggest drawbacks IMO.
A friend of mine picked it up and I had a chance to play it tdoay... let me just say that it is a phenomenal game. I personally have never even been a fan of the genre, or any of Blizzard's products for that matter, but I can clearly see why so many people regard Starcraft as the "best of the best." I'm sure the same can be said for Warcraft and Diablo.
"This asian team can barely drive cars, and I'd much rather have you guys conquer the racing genre."
I am shocked, and appalled.
as a general rule of thumb, when developers approached car companies about damage, the car cannot:
1) Weld the frame, lose doors/panels
2) Explode or catch fire
3) Turn off.
They want to make their cars look their best at all times, so people will want to buy them. When was the last time you saw a car commercial in which a vehicle was destroyed yet they proclaim the car to have a 5* safety rating?
this game isn't competing with GT5 so why are you bringing it up? WRC is offered in GT5, but it's not the focus of it at all. What GT5 does focus on, is not offered in WRC.
But on topic, the screenshots are looking good. But when will we see something besides Loeb's C4? :P
No, it's been confirmed by Poly D. that there will be 16 car races, for all events, online and off. You can look up the videos and even trailers; many feature full 16-car grids.
"do i have to be plugged in to ps3, or can i do wifi? thanks for the feedback +bubs. you got me excited for my GTpsp again : ). "
your PS3 has to be plugged in though ethernet but the PSP uses wifi. The folks over at GTplanet use a specific server for GT:PSP races but I can't remember which. You can check their forums to find out which one.
"1 was garbage and 2 was good 3 was the best and 4 was ok dont know bout 5 haven't play it yet"
GT1 started the genre... If it wasn't for that game, racing games in general would not be the way they are today. The fact that you would call that garbage is really appalling.
There's nothing wrong with the list so far as I see. PS3 has an extensive catalog of games ranging across a multitude of different genres. There's really no way to narrow it down to just five.
"Arcades: not dead yet"
Yes it is. Why didn't Street Fighter 4, Virtua Fighter 5 or Tekken 6 make it out of Japan then?
The good folks over at GtPlanet will certainly be able to give you pointers, tips and setups on tuning.
And yeah steal too...
:P
I'm getting kinda tired of these demos too. We won't see anything really new until gamescom when the game is to be fully revealed (in terms of features).
